Installation of Teams Manager


This section describes the steps for Installation of Teams Manager. After installation, required permissions are to be provided in order to access the application.


Pre-Requisite:


1. User should have Global Admin role and the Teams Admin role to install and access the application. 


2. If user does not have Global Admin role, user can still install the Teams Manager application, but will not be able to access the application. User has to contact the Global Administrator to provide the required rights to access the application.


1. Login to Office 365 Tenant: for (eg) URL "https://M365x469520.sharepoint.com". Provide valid Login Credentials.


2. Click on "Teams" from left corner display.

3. Click on three dots "..." and click on link "Browse all apps".

4. Click on link "Upload a custom app" and click on "Upload to Contoso".



5. Select "TeamsManager.zip" file available from local computer and click on button "Open".

Note: "TeamsManager.zip" should be available in local computer.


6. Application "TeamsManager" is copied to Teams. Select the application "TeamsManager" that is available.


7. Click on button "Add".


8. Enter all information in "Register Trial" dialog box and click on button "Register Trial".


9. Click on link "Grant Permissions to Teams Manager".


10. It displays a new window for the user to select the account which needs advanced permission.


11. Select the account and Click on button "Accept" and displays a confirmation message that "Teams Manager has now Application Permissions" and user can close the dialog.

12. Close the window and now Click on link "Grant consent for your Organization".


13. Displays new window for the user to select the account which needs permission.

14. Select the checkbox "Consent on behalf of your organization" in Permissions requested window and click on button "Accept".


15. Displays a confirmation message that "Teams Manager has now Application Permissions" and user can close the dialog.

16. Click on link "Start the Teams Manager".


Teams Manager is now ready to be used.


17. Go to Settings->Maintenance->Licensing. Displays information related to License details of Teams Manager.

This completes the Installation of Teams Manager.
