To create a easy group and user managment there a few steps which should be attended.
All users have to assigned to portal groups. Thus it will be possible to give complete groups access to one or more workspaces with briefly steps.
Further the Collaboration Manager make it easier to add/remove people to/from groups and all workspaces.
Step by step:
- Add groups to the Portal (the best way you name the groups like the position in the company. For example CEO, IT, ...)
- Add the users to this groups
- Add groups to the Template (here you should name the groups like the position which they should have in the workspace. For example Project Manager, Project Member, ...)
- Synchronize the workspaces with the template
- Add a Group Permission Field to the workspace(s)
